He appointed twelve: ¹  To Simon ²  he gave the name Peter;

He took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and became anguished and distressed.

He took Peter, James, ¹  and John with him, and became very troubled and distressed.

Simon ¹  (whom he named Peter), and his brother Andrew; and James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, ² 

Jesus ¹  sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and prepare the Passover ²  for us to eat.” ³ 

Then he came to Simon Peter. Peter ¹  said to him, “Lord, are you going to wash ²  my feet?”

When he saw Peter and John about to go into the temple courts, ¹  he asked them for money. ² 

Now ¹  as Peter was traveling around from place to place, ²  he also came down to the saints who lived in Lydda. ³ 

Six days later ¹  Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John the brother of James, ²  and led them privately up a high mountain.

He did not let anyone follow him except Peter, James, ¹  and John, the brother of James.

When she saw Peter warming himself, she looked directly at him and said, “You also were with that Nazarene, Jesus.”

Now ¹  about eight days ²  after these sayings, Jesus ³  took with him Peter, John, and James, and went up the mountain to pray.

Now when they heard this, ¹  they were acutely distressed ²  and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “What should we do, brothers?”

While the man ¹  was hanging on to Peter and John, all the people, completely astounded, ran together to them in the covered walkway ²  called Solomon’s Portico. ³ 

Now when the apostles in Jerusalem ¹  heard that Samaria had accepted the word ²  of God, they sent ³  Peter and John to them.

So when ¹  Peter came in, Cornelius met ²  him, fell ³  at his feet, and worshiped ⁴  him.

When he saw that this pleased the Jews, ¹  he proceeded to arrest Peter too. (This took place during the feast of Unleavened Bread.) ² 

As ¹  he was walking by the Sea of Galilee he saw two brothers, Simon (called Peter) and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea (for they were fishermen). ² 

Six days later ¹  Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John and led them alone up a high mountain privately. And he was transfigured before them, ² 

Now when he came to the house, Jesus ¹  did not let anyone go in with him except Peter, John, ²  and James, and the child’s father and mother.
