But the person who endures to the end will be saved. ¹ 

The Word ¹  was with God in the beginning.

But some of them said, “This is the man who caused the blind man to see! ¹  Couldn’t he have done something to keep Lazarus ²  from dying?”

Then ¹  some of the experts in the law ²  said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming!” ³ 

When ¹  some of the bystanders heard it, they said, “This man is calling for Elijah.”

But when Herod heard this, he said, “John, whom I beheaded, has been raised!”

They will say, ¹  ‘This man ²  began to build and was not able to finish!’ ³ 

Was no one found to turn back and give praise to God except this foreigner?” ¹ 

There was also an inscription ¹  over him, “This is the king of the Jews.”

He went to Pilate and asked for the body ¹  of Jesus.

I have both seen and testified that this man is the Chosen One of God.” ¹ 

Then the Jewish leaders ¹  were astonished ²  and said, “How does this man know so much when he has never had formal instruction?” ³ 

But this rabble ¹  who do not know the law are accursed!”

If this man ¹  were not from God, he could do nothing.”

So when Peter saw him, ¹  he asked Jesus, “Lord, what about him?”

if ¹  we are being examined ²  today for a good deed ³  done to a sick man – by what means this man was healed ⁴  –

This man is staying as a guest with a man named Simon, a tanner, ¹  whose house is by the sea.”

saying, “This man is persuading ¹  people to worship God in a way contrary to ²  the law!”

But if someone loves God, he ¹  is known by God. ² 

And you will be hated by everyone because of my name. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
