The sower sows the word.

and because of his word many more ¹  believed.

he does not need to honor his father.’ ¹  You have nullified the word of God on account of your tradition.

So ¹  with many parables like these, he spoke the word to them, as they were able to hear.

He went away again and prayed the same thing.

You are clean already ¹  because of the word that I have spoken to you.

When Pilate heard what they said, ¹  he was more afraid than ever, ² 

Now those who had been forced to scatter went around proclaiming the good news of the word.

Therefore, each of us will give an account of himself to God. ¹ 

Now the one who receives instruction in the word must share all good things with the one who teaches ¹  it.

They will face a reckoning before ¹  Jesus Christ ²  who stands ready to judge the living and the dead.

The ¹  seed sown among thorns is the person who hears the word, but worldly cares and the seductiveness of wealth ²  choke the word, ³  so it produces nothing.

Then the disciples came to him and said, “Do you know that when the Pharisees ¹  heard this saying they were offended?”

He ¹  said to them, “Not everyone can accept this statement, except those to whom it has been given.

But when the young man heard this he went away sorrowful, for he was very rich. ¹ 

No one ¹  was able to answer him a word, and from that day on no one dared to question him any longer.

After ¹  a long time, the master of those slaves came and settled his accounts with them.
