So ¹  he continued to preach in the synagogues of Judea. ² 

While we remained there for a number of days, ¹  a prophet named Agabus ²  came down from Judea.

But I was personally ¹  unknown to the churches of Judea that are in Christ.

“In Bethlehem of Judea,” they said, “for it is written this way by the prophet:

In those days John the Baptist came into the wilderness ¹  of Judea proclaiming,

And large crowds followed him from Galilee, the Decapolis, ¹  Jerusalem, ²  Judea, and beyond the Jordan River. ³ 

Jesus did this as his second miraculous sign ¹  when he returned from Judea to Galilee.

After Jesus was born in Bethlehem ¹  in Judea, in the time ²  of King Herod, ³  wise men ⁴  from the East came to Jerusalem ⁵ 

Then ¹  Jesus went away with his disciples to the sea, and a great multitude from Galilee followed him. ²  And from Judea,

All ¹  their neighbors were filled with fear, and throughout the entire hill country of Judea all these things were talked about.

But they persisted ¹  in saying, “He incites ²  the people by teaching throughout all Judea. It started in Galilee and ended up here!” ³ 

you know what happened throughout Judea, beginning from Galilee after the baptism that John announced: ¹ 

When Herod ¹  had searched ²  for him and did not find him, he questioned ³  the guards and commanded that they be led away to execution. ⁴  Then ⁵  Herod ⁶  went down from Judea to Caesarea ⁷  and stayed there.

Now some men came down from Judea ¹  and began to teach the brothers, “Unless you are circumcised ²  according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.”

He also came to Derbe ¹  and to Lystra. ²  A disciple ³  named Timothy was there, the son of a Jewish woman who was a believer, ⁴  but whose father was a Greek. ⁵ 

But when he heard that Archelaus ¹  was reigning over Judea in place of his father Herod, ²  he was afraid to go there. After being warned in a dream, he went to the regions of Galilee.

Now when ¹  Jesus finished these sayings, he left Galilee and went to the region of Judea beyond the Jordan River. ² 

Then ¹  Jesus ²  left that place and went to the region of Judea and ³  beyond the Jordan River. ⁴  Again crowds gathered to him, and again, as was his custom, he taught them.

During the reign ¹  of Herod ²  king of Judea, there lived a priest named Zechariah who belonged to ³  the priestly division of Abijah, ⁴  and he had a wife named Elizabeth, ⁵  who was a descendant of Aaron. ⁶ 

When he heard that Jesus had come back from Judea to Galilee, he went to him and begged him ¹  to come down and heal his son, who was about to die.
