And in his name the Gentiles ¹  will hope.” ² 

And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, proclaimed the gospel to Abraham ahead of time, ¹  saying, “All the nations ²  will be blessed in you.” ³ 

First the gospel must be preached to all nations.

After ¹  he had destroyed ²  seven nations ³  in the land of Canaan, he gave his people their land as an inheritance. ⁴ 

Then ¹  he said to me, ‘Go, because I will send you far away to the Gentiles.’”

And again it says: “Rejoice, O Gentiles, with his people.” ¹ 

not in lustful passion like the Gentiles who do not know God.

For all the nations of the world pursue ¹  these things, and your Father knows that you need them.

and repentance ¹  for the forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed ²  in his name to all nations, ³  beginning from Jerusalem. ⁴ 

In ¹  past ²  generations he allowed all the nations ³  to go their own ways,

What shall we say then? – that the Gentiles who did not pursue righteousness obtained it, that is, a righteousness that is by faith,

And again, “Praise the Lord all you Gentiles, and let all the peoples praise him.” ¹ 

You know that when you were pagans you were often led astray by speechless idols, however you were led.

(for he who empowered ¹  Peter for his apostleship ²  to the circumcised ³  also empowered me for my apostleship to the Gentiles) ⁴ 

namely, that through the gospel ¹  the Gentiles are fellow heirs, fellow members ²  of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus.

For the unconverted ¹  pursue these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.

All ¹  the nations will be assembled before him, and he will separate people one from another like a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

Therefore go ¹  and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, ² 

who said by the Holy Spirit through ¹  your servant David our forefather, ²  ‘Why do the nations ³  rage, ⁴  and the peoples plot foolish ⁵  things?

The ¹  circumcised believers ²  who had accompanied Peter were greatly astonished ³  that ⁴  the gift of the Holy Spirit ⁵  had been poured out ⁶  even on the Gentiles,
