Everyone ¹  went to his own town ²  to be registered.

Now ¹  Jesus’ ²  parents went to Jerusalem ³  every ⁴  year for the feast of the Passover. ⁵ 

So they approached the village where they were going. He acted as though he wanted to go farther, ¹ 

They went out from there and passed through Galilee. But ¹  Jesus ²  did not want anyone to know,

So they left the council rejoicing because they had been considered worthy ¹  to suffer dishonor for the sake of the name. ² 

Now as they were going along the road, they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “Look, there is water! What is to stop me ¹  from being baptized?” ²
