Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they descendants of Abraham? So am I.

For ¹  there are three that testify, ² 

For many are called, but few are chosen.”

Now there are different gifts, but the same Spirit.

And there are different ministries, but the same Lord.

Others are the ones sown among thorns: They are those who hear the word,

But ¹  indeed, ²  some are last ³  who will be first, and some are first who will be last.”

In fact, they can no longer die, because they are equal to angels ¹  and are sons of God, since they are ²  sons ³  of the resurrection.

If after all there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many gods and many lords),

Even all the hairs on your head are numbered.

“To what then should I compare the people ¹  of this generation, and what are they like?

because these are days of vengeance, ¹  to fulfill ²  all that is written.

But this rabble ¹  who do not know the law are accursed!”

Now they understand ¹  that everything ²  you have given me comes from you,

They do not belong to the world ¹  just as I do not belong to the world. ² 

But others jeered at the speakers, ¹  saying, “They are drunk on new wine!” ² 

For all who are led by the Spirit of God are ¹  the sons of God.

nor are all the children Abraham’s true descendants; rather “through Isaac will your descendants be counted.” ¹ 

And again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.” ¹ 

There are probably many kinds of languages in the world, and none is without meaning.
