After ¹  he had said ²  this, ³  he dismissed the assembly. ⁴ 

He went away again and prayed the same thing.

After Jesus ¹  had said this, he continued on ahead, ²  going up to Jerusalem. ³ 

When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet. ¹ 

When he had said this, he remained in Galilee.

When ¹  he had said this, he shouted in a loud voice, ²  “Lazarus, come out!”

And after he said this, he breathed on them and said, ¹  “Receive the Holy Spirit. ² 

When ¹  he had said these things, he knelt down ²  with them all and prayed.

So leaving them again, he went away and prayed for the third time, saying the same thing once more.

Jesus ¹  sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and prepare the Passover ²  for us to eat.” ³ 

They asked him, “Who is the man who said to you, ‘Pick up your mat ¹  and walk’?” ² 

After ¹  he had said this, while they were watching, he was lifted up and a cloud hid him from their sight.

But the man who was unfairly hurting his neighbor pushed ¹  Moses ²  aside, saying, ‘Who made ³  you a ruler and judge over us?

but said farewell to ¹  them and added, ²  “I will come back ³  to you again if God wills.” ⁴  Then ⁵  he set sail from Ephesus,

Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” ¹  And after he said this he breathed his last.

Having said this, ¹  he spat on the ground and made some mud ²  with the saliva. He ³  smeared the mud on the blind man’s ⁴  eyes

When he had said these things, Jesus was greatly distressed ¹  in spirit, and testified, ²  “I tell you the solemn truth, ³  one of you will betray me.” ⁴ 

When Jesus ¹  had said this, one of the high priest’s officers who stood nearby struck him on the face and said, ²  “Is that the way you answer the high priest?”

When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord. ¹ 

(Now Jesus ¹  said this to indicate clearly by what kind of death Peter ²  was going to glorify God.) ³  After he said this, Jesus told Peter, ⁴  “Follow me.”
