And Jesus increased ¹  in wisdom and in stature, and in favor with God and with people.

But they are justified ¹  freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

And if it is by grace, it is no longer by works, otherwise grace would no longer be grace.

If I partake with thankfulness, why am I blamed for the food ¹  that I give thanks for?

So you, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

And so, ¹  since we have been justified by his grace, we become heirs with the confident expectation of eternal life.” ² 

but Paul chose Silas and set out, commended ¹  to the grace of the Lord by the brothers and sisters. ² 

I always thank my God for you because of the grace of God that was given to you in Christ Jesus.

I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one ¹  who called you by the grace of Christ ²  and are following ³  a different ⁴  gospel –

even though we were dead in transgressions, made us alive together with Christ – by grace you are saved! ¹  –

For by grace you are saved ¹  through faith, ²  and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God;

Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you should answer everyone.

From there they sailed back to Antioch, ¹  where they had been commended ²  to the grace of God for the work they had now completed. ³ 

Do not be carried away by all sorts of strange teachings. ¹  For it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not ritual meals, ²  which have never benefited those who participated in them.

But grow in the grace and knowledge ¹  of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the honor both now and on ²  that eternal day. ³ 

When the meeting of the synagogue ¹  had broken up, ²  many of the Jews and God-fearing proselytes ³  followed Paul and Barnabas, who were speaking with them and were persuading ⁴  them ⁵  to continue ⁶  in the grace of God.

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me has not been in vain. In fact, I worked harder than all of them – yet not I, but the grace of God with me.

For our reason for confidence ¹  is this: the testimony of our conscience, that with pure motives ²  and sincerity which are from God ³  – not by human wisdom ⁴  but by the grace of God – we conducted ourselves in the world, and all the more ⁵  toward you.

But as you excel ¹  in everything – in faith, in speech, in knowledge, and in all eagerness and in the love from us that is in you ²  – make sure that you excel ³  in this act of kindness ⁴  too.

In addition, ¹  this brother ²  has also been chosen by the churches as our traveling companion as we administer this generous gift ³  to the glory of the Lord himself and to show our readiness to help. ⁴
