For I consider myself not at all inferior to those “super-apostles.” ¹ 

They stood these men before the apostles, who prayed ¹  and placed ²  their hands on them.

But I saw none of the other apostles ¹  except James the Lord’s brother.

Then ¹  they cast lots for them, and the one chosen was Matthias; ²  so he was counted with the eleven apostles. ³ 

Reverential awe ¹  came over everyone, ²  and many wonders and miraculous signs ³  came about by the apostles.

and placing them at the apostles’ feet. The proceeds ¹  were distributed to each, as anyone had need.

sold ¹  a field ²  that belonged to him and brought the money ³  and placed it at the apostles’ feet.

because you have been built ¹  on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, ²  with Christ Jesus himself as ³  the cornerstone. ⁴ 

But you, dear friends – recall the predictions ¹  foretold by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. ² 

They were devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, ¹  to the breaking of bread and to prayer. ² 

So Joseph, a Levite who was a native of Cyprus, called by the apostles Barnabas (which is translated “son of encouragement”), ¹ 

He ¹  kept back for himself part of the proceeds with his wife’s knowledge; he brought ²  only part of it and placed it at the apostles’ feet.

Now many miraculous signs ¹  and wonders came about among the people through the hands of the apostles. By ²  common consent ³  they were all meeting together in Solomon’s Portico. ⁴ 

Now Simon, when he saw that the Spirit ¹  was given through the laying on of the apostles’ hands, offered them money,

When they arrived in Jerusalem, they were received ¹  by the church and the apostles and the elders, and they reported ²  all the things God had done with them. ³ 

As they went through the towns, ¹  they passed on ²  the decrees that had been decided on by the apostles and elders in Jerusalem ³  for the Gentile believers ⁴  to obey. ⁵ 

For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

I have become a fool. You yourselves forced me to do it, for I should have been commended by you. For I lack nothing in comparison ¹  to those “super-apostles,” even though I am nothing.

I want you to recall ¹  both ²  the predictions ³  foretold by the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior through your apostles. ⁴ 

The ¹  wall of the city has twelve foundations, and on them are the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
