Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles.

until the day he was taken up to heaven, ¹  after he had given orders ²  by ³  the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen.

But the population ¹  of the city was divided; some ²  sided with the Jews, and some with the apostles.

Now this secret ¹  was not disclosed to people ²  in former ³  generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by ⁴  the Spirit,
