If you forgive anyone’s sins, they are forgiven; ¹  if you retain anyone’s sins, they are retained.” ² 

Look, your house is left to you desolate!

They left their nets immediately and followed him. ¹ 

Then ¹  all the disciples ²  left him and fled.

But Jesus cried out with a loud voice and breathed his last.

Then ¹  Jesus ²  said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” ³

and forgive us our debts, as we ourselves ¹  have forgiven our debtors.

“For if you forgive others ¹  their sins, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

So Jesus replied ¹  to him, “Let it happen now, ²  for it is right for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John ³  yielded ⁴  to him.

But if you do not forgive others, your Father will not forgive you your sins.

For this reason I tell you, people will be forgiven for every sin and blasphemy, ¹  but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.

Therefore I tell you, her sins, which were many, are forgiven, thus she loved much; ¹  but the one who is forgiven little loves little.”

and forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins ¹  against us. And do not lead us into temptation.” ² 

And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but the person who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit ¹  will not be forgiven. ² 

They ¹  left their nets immediately and followed him. ² 

They ¹  immediately left the boat and their father and followed him.

Now when they heard this they were stunned, ¹  and they left him and went away.

Then there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one left. ¹ 

There will be two women grinding grain with a mill; ¹  one will be taken and one left.
