Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the head steward,” ¹  and they did.

He takes away ¹  every branch that does not bear ²  fruit in me. He ³  prunes ⁴  every branch that bears ⁵  fruit so that it will bear more fruit.

“Bring them here to me,” he replied.

For where there is a will, the death of the one who made it must be proven. ¹ 

His ¹  head was brought on a platter and given to the girl, and she brought it to her mother.

for no prophecy was ever borne of human impulse; rather, men ¹  carried along by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.

Some people ¹  came bringing to him a paralytic, carried by four of them. ² 

So ¹  the king sent an executioner at once to bring John’s ²  head, and he went and beheaded John in prison.

They brought Jesus ¹  to a place called Golgotha ²  (which is translated, “Place of the Skull”). ³ 

Bring ¹  the fattened calf ²  and kill it! Let us eat ³  and celebrate,

So the disciples began to say ¹  to one another, “No one brought him anything ²  to eat, did they?” ³ 

Jesus said, ¹  “Bring some of the fish you have just now caught.”

For they could not bear what was commanded: “If even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned.” ¹ 

We must go out to him, then, outside the camp, bearing the abuse he experienced. ¹ 

They will bring the grandeur and the wealth ¹  of the nations ²  into it,

Then he said to Thomas, “Put ¹  your finger here, and examine ²  my hands. Extend ³  your hand and put it ⁴  into my side. Do not continue in your unbelief, but believe.” ⁵ 

A good tree is not able to bear bad fruit, nor a bad tree to bear good fruit.

They brought to him a deaf man who had difficulty speaking, and they asked him to place his hands on him.

Then ¹  they came to Bethsaida. They brought a blind man to Jesus ²  and asked him to touch him.

Now on the first day ¹  of the week, at early dawn, the women ²  went to the tomb, taking the aromatic spices ³  they had prepared.
