At the present time, your abundance will meet their need, ¹  so that one day their abundance may also meet your need, and thus there may be equality,

I was glad about the arrival of Stephanus, Fortunatus, and Achaicus because they have supplied the fellowship with you that I lacked. ¹ 

For I do not say this so there would be relief for others and suffering for you, but as a matter of equality.

because the service of this ministry is not only providing for ¹  the needs of the saints but is also overflowing with many thanks to God.

since it was because of the work of Christ that he almost died. He risked his life so that he could make up for your inability to serve me. ¹ 

We pray earnestly night and day to see you in person ¹  and make up what may be lacking in your faith.
