Now when ¹  Jesus finished these parables, he moved on from there.

I have a baptism ¹  to undergo, ²  and how distressed I am until it is finished!

But I say, live ¹  by the Spirit and you will not carry out the desires of the flesh. ² 

I have competed well; ¹  I have finished the race; I have kept the faith!

When ¹  Jesus had finished saying all these things, he told his disciples,

So ¹  when Joseph and Mary ²  had performed ³  everything according to the law of the Lord, ⁴  they returned to Galilee, to their own town ⁵  of Nazareth. ⁶ 

After this Jesus, realizing that by this time ¹  everything was completed, ²  said (in order to fulfill the scripture), ³  “I am thirsty!” ⁴ 

When they had accomplished ¹  everything that was written ²  about him, they took him down ³  from the cross ⁴  and placed him ⁵  in a tomb.

And will not the physically uncircumcised man ¹  who keeps the law judge you who, despite ²  the written code ³  and circumcision, transgress the law?

For this reason you also pay taxes, for the authorities ¹  are God’s servants devoted to governing. ² 

But if you fulfill the royal law as expressed in this scripture, ¹  “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” ²  you are doing well.

Now ¹  when the thousand years are finished, Satan will be released from his prison

When ¹  Jesus had finished instructing his twelve disciples, he went on from there to teach and preach in their towns.

After ¹  they arrived in Capernaum, ²  the collectors of the temple tax ³  came to Peter and said, “Your teacher pays the double drachma tax, doesn’t he?”

When ¹  he had received the sour wine, Jesus said, “It is completed!” ²  Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. ³ 

(The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were finished.) ¹  This is the first resurrection.

Whenever ¹  they persecute you in one place, ²  flee to another. I tell you the truth, ³  you will not finish going through all the towns ⁴  of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

Now when ¹  Jesus finished these sayings, he left Galilee and went to the region of Judea beyond the Jordan River. ² 

Then ¹  Jesus ²  took the twelve aside and said to them, “Look, we are going up to Jerusalem, ³  and everything that is written about the Son of Man by the prophets will be accomplished. ⁴ 

For I tell you that this scripture must be ¹  fulfilled in me, ‘And he was counted with the transgressors.’ ²  For what is written about me is being fulfilled.” ³
