When ¹  they saw him, they worshiped him, ²  but some doubted. ³ 

God is spirit, ¹  and the people who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”

Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, ¹  and you people ²  say that the place where people must worship is in Jerusalem.” ³ 

You people ¹  worship what you do not know. We worship what we know, because salvation is from the Jews. ² 

And he said to him, “I will give you all these things if you throw yourself to the ground and worship ¹  me.”

Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”

But she came and bowed down ¹  before him and said, ²  “Lord, help me!”

When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and bowed down before him.

So then, if ¹  you will worship ²  me, all this will be ³  yours.”

So ¹  they worshiped ²  him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, ³ 

[He said, “Lord, I believe,” and he worshiped him. ¹ 

Now some Greeks ¹  were among those who had gone up to worship at the feast.

And the four living creatures were saying “Amen,” and the elders threw themselves to the ground ¹  and worshiped.

But a time ¹  is coming – and now is here ²  – when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks ³  such people to be ⁴  his worshipers. ⁵ 

they worshiped the dragon because he had given ruling authority ¹  to the beast, and they worshiped the beast too, saying: “Who is like the beast?” and “Who is able to make war against him?” ² 

And a leper ¹  approached, and bowed low before him, saying, ²  “Lord, if ³  you are willing, you can make me clean.”

Then the slave threw himself to the ground ¹  before him, saying, ²  ‘Be patient with me, and I will repay you everything.’

Again and again ¹  they struck him on the head with a staff ²  and spit on him. Then they knelt down and paid homage to him.

But when he again brings ¹  his firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all the angels of God worship him!” ² 

saying, “Where is the one who is born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose ¹  and have come to worship him.”
