From that time ¹  on, Judas ²  began looking for an opportunity to betray him.

(For he knew that they had handed him over because of envy.) ¹ 

For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night in which he was betrayed took bread,

Now when Jesus ¹  heard that John had been imprisoned, ²  he went into Galilee.

Simon the Zealot ¹  and Judas Iscariot, ²  who betrayed him. ³ 

Then many will be led into sin, ¹  and they will betray one another and hate one another.

Get up, let us go. Look! My betrayer ¹  is approaching!”

They ¹  tied him up, led him away, and handed him over to Pilate ²  the governor. ³ 

and Judas Iscariot, ¹  who betrayed him. ² 

Get up, let us go. Look! My betrayer ¹  is approaching!”

(For he knew that the chief priests had handed him over because of envy.) ¹ 

like the accounts ¹  passed on ²  to us by those who were eyewitnesses and servants of the word ³  from the beginning. ⁴ 

For he will be handed over ¹  to the Gentiles; he will be mocked, ²  mistreated, ³  and spat on. ⁴ 

So ¹  Judas ²  agreed and began looking for an opportunity to betray Jesus ³  when no crowd was present. ⁴ 

“But look, the hand of the one who betrays ¹  me is with me on the table. ² 

But Jesus said to him, “Judas, would you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?” ¹ 

Then Pilate ¹  handed him over ²  to them to be crucified.So they took Jesus,

He ¹  was given over ²  because of our transgressions and was raised for the sake of ³  our justification. ⁴ 

Because they are callous, they have given themselves over to indecency for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness. ¹ 

“Look, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and experts in the law. ¹  They will condemn him to death and will turn him over to the Gentiles.
