After instructing the crowd to sit down on the ground,

So there was a division in the crowd ¹  because of Jesus. ² 

And such a large crowd gathered around him that he got into a boat to sit while ¹  the whole crowd stood on the shore.

After he came down from the mountain, large crowds followed him.

Now when Jesus saw a large crowd ¹  around him, he gave orders to go to the other side of the lake. ² 

Although ¹  Herod ²  wanted to kill John, ³  he feared the crowd because they accepted John as a prophet.

Then he called the crowd to him and said, ¹  “Listen and understand.

When ¹  they came to the crowd, a man came to him, knelt before him,

Large crowds followed him, and he healed them there.

As they were leaving Jericho, ¹  a large crowd followed them.

They wanted to arrest him, but they were afraid of the crowds, because the crowds ¹  regarded him as a prophet.

When the crowds heard this, they were amazed at his teaching.

Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples,

Now ¹  Jesus ²  went home, and a crowd gathered so that they were not able to eat.

Jesus ¹  went with him, and a large crowd followed and pressed around him.

Then the crowd came up and began to ask Pilate to release a prisoner for them, as was his custom. ¹ 

But the chief priests stirred up the crowd to have him release ¹  Barabbas instead.

So ¹  the crowds were asking ²  him, “What then should we do?”

Now large crowds ¹  were accompanying Jesus, ²  and turning to them he said,

When he heard a crowd going by, he asked what was going on.
