to be renewed in the spirit of your mind,

For who has known the mind of the Lord, so as to advise him? ¹  But we have the mind of Christ.

What should I do? ¹  I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my mind. I will sing praises with my spirit, but I will also sing praises with my mind.

Then he opened their minds so they could understand the scriptures, ¹ 

For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor? ¹ 

If ¹  I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unproductive.

and constant bickering by people corrupted in their minds and deprived of the truth, who suppose that godliness ¹  is a way of making a profit.

And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, ¹  God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what should not be done. ² 

One person regards one day holier than other days, and another regards them all alike. ¹  Each must be fully convinced in his own mind.

but in the church I want to speak five words with my mind to instruct others, rather than ten thousand words in a tongue.

So I say this, and insist ¹  in the Lord, that you no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility ²  of their thinking. ³ 

And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds ¹  in Christ Jesus.

Let no one who delights in humility and the worship of angels pass judgment on you. That person goes on at great lengths ¹  about what he has supposedly seen, but he is puffed up with empty notions by his fleshly mind. ² 

And just as Jannes and Jambres ¹  opposed Moses, so these people – who have warped minds and are disqualified in the faith ²  – also oppose the truth.

All is pure to those who are pure. But to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their minds and consciences are corrupted.

(This requires ¹  a mind that has wisdom.) The seven heads are seven mountains ²  the woman sits on. They are also seven kings:

But I see a different law in my members waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that is in my members.

Thanks be ¹  to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, ²  I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but ³  with my flesh I serve ⁴  the law of sin.

Do not be conformed ¹  to this present world, ²  but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may test and approve ³  what is the will of God – what is good and well-pleasing and perfect.

not to be easily ¹  shaken from your composure or disturbed by any kind of spirit or message or letter allegedly from us, ²  to the effect that the day of the Lord is already here.
