No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, because the patch will pull away from the garment and the tear will be worse.

For she kept saying to herself, ¹  “If only I touch his cloak, I will be healed.” ² 

and the one in the field must not turn back to get his cloak.

When ¹  they had crucified ²  him, they divided his clothes by throwing dice. ³ 

for she kept saying, ¹  “If only I touch his clothes, I will be healed.” ² 

He threw off his cloak, jumped up, and came to Jesus.

As ¹  he rode along, they ²  spread their cloaks on the road.

While they were screaming ¹  and throwing off their cloaks ²  and tossing dust ³  in the air,

They will perish, but you continue. And they will all grow old like a garment,

Your riches have rotted and your clothing has become moth-eaten.

And if someone wants to sue you and to take your tunic, ¹  give him your coat also.

But ¹  a woman who had been suffering from a hemorrhage ²  for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge ³  of his cloak. ⁴ 

They begged him if ¹  they could only touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched it were healed.

They brought the donkey and the colt and placed their cloaks ¹  on them, and he sat on them.

When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, ¹ 

Many spread their cloaks on the road and others spread branches they had cut in the fields.

The one in the field must not turn back to get his cloak.

Then ¹  they crucified ²  him and divided his clothes, throwing dice ³  for them, to decide what each would take.

She ¹  came up behind Jesus ²  and touched the edge ³  of his cloak, ⁴  and at once the bleeding ⁵  stopped.

he got up from the meal, removed ¹  his outer clothes, ²  took a towel and tied it around himself. ³
