Now ¹  when the other ten ²  heard this, ³  they were angry with the two brothers.

When ¹  the disciples saw this, they became indignant and said, “Why this waste?

But some who were present indignantly said to one another, “Why this waste of expensive ¹  ointment?

But when the chief priests and the experts in the law ¹  saw the wonderful things he did and heard the children crying out in the temple courts, ²  “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they became indignant

But when Jesus saw this, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the little children come to me and do not try to stop them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. ¹ 

But the president of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the crowd, “There are six days on which work ¹  should be done! ²  So come ³  and be healed on those days, and not on the Sabbath day.”
