From that time ¹  on, Judas ²  began looking for an opportunity to betray him.

I am not trying to get ¹  praise for myself. ²  There is one who demands ³  it, and he also judges. ⁴ 

The one bound to a wife should not seek divorce. The one released from a wife should not seek marriage. ¹ 

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant searching for fine pearls.

They wanted to arrest him, but they were afraid of the crowds, because the crowds ¹  regarded him as a prophet.

When they found him, they said, “Everyone is looking for you.”

Others, to test ¹  him, ²  began asking for ³  a sign ⁴  from heaven.

Instead, pursue ¹  his ²  kingdom, ³  and these things will be given to you as well.

For the Son of Man came ¹  to seek and to save the lost.”

So ¹  Judas ²  agreed and began looking for an opportunity to betray Jesus ³  when no crowd was present. ⁴ 

The crowd ¹  answered, “You’re possessed by a demon! ²  Who is trying to kill you?” ³ 

Then ¹  they attempted ²  again to seize him, but he escaped their clutches. ³ 

Then Jesus ¹  asked them again, “Who are you looking for?” And they said, “Jesus the Nazarene.”

eternal life to those who by perseverance in good works seek glory and honor and immortality,

For Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks ask for wisdom,

Now what is sought in stewards is that one be found faithful.

Do not seek your own good, but the good of the other person.

Others are busy with their own concerns, not those of Jesus Christ.

But when he arrived in Rome, ¹  he eagerly searched for me and found me.

For if that first covenant had been faultless, no one would have looked for a second one. ¹
