Now ¹  a woman was there who had been suffering from a hemorrhage ²  for twelve years. ³ 

Now, dear friends, do not let this one thing escape your notice, ¹  that a single day is like a thousand years with the Lord and a thousand years are like a single day.

Now ¹  Jesus’ ²  parents went to Jerusalem ³  every ⁴  year for the feast of the Passover. ⁵ 

When ¹  he was twelve years old, ²  they went up ³  according to custom.

All this took ¹  about four hundred fifty years. After this ²  he gave them judges until the time of ³  Samuel the prophet.

After several years ¹  I came to bring to my people gifts for the poor ²  and to present offerings, ³ 

Then after fourteen years I went up to Jerusalem ¹  again with Barnabas, taking Titus along too.

No widow should be put on the list ¹  unless ²  she is at least sixty years old, was the wife of one husband, ³ 

But ¹  a woman who had been suffering from a hemorrhage ²  for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge ³  of his cloak. ⁴ 

The girl got up at once and began to walk around (she was twelve years old). They were completely astonished at this. ¹ 

So ¹  Jesus, when he began his ministry, ²  was about thirty years old. He was ³  the son (as was supposed) ⁴  of Joseph, the son ⁵  of Heli,

Now ¹  a woman was there who had been suffering from a hemorrhage ²  for twelve years ³  but could not be healed by anyone.

Now a man was there who had been disabled for thirty-eight years. ¹ 

Then the Judeans ¹  replied, ²  “You are not yet fifty years old! ³  Have ⁴  you seen Abraham?”

For the man, on whom this miraculous sign ¹  of healing had been performed, ²  was over forty years old.

He found there a man named Aeneas who had been confined to a mattress for eight years because ¹  he was paralyzed.

Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem ¹  to visit Cephas ²  and get information from him, ³  and I stayed with him fifteen days.

“There your fathers tested me and tried me, ¹  and they saw my works for forty years.

And against whom was God ¹  provoked for forty years? Was it not those who sinned, whose dead bodies fell in the wilderness? ² 

Now ¹  when the thousand years are finished, Satan will be released from his prison
