that you have prepared in the presence of all peoples: ¹ 

He will show you a large room upstairs, furnished and ready. Make preparations for us there.”

They ¹  said to him, “Where do you want us to prepare ²  it?”

Then he will show you a large furnished room upstairs. Make preparations there.”

So ¹  they went and found things ²  just as he had told them, ³  and they prepared the Passover.

So ¹  the disciples did as Jesus had instructed them, and they prepared the Passover.

the voice of one shouting in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make ¹  his paths straight.’” ² 

but to sit at my right or at my left is not mine to give. It is for those for whom it has been prepared.” ¹ 

And you, child, ¹  will be called the prophet ²  of the Most High. ³  For you will go before ⁴  the Lord to prepare his ways, ⁵ 

He ¹  sent messengers on ahead of him. ²  As they went along, ³  they entered a Samaritan village to make things ready in advance ⁴  for him,

Now on the first day ¹  of the week, at early dawn, the women ²  went to the tomb, taking the aromatic spices ³  they had prepared.

At the same time also, prepare a place for me to stay, for I hope that through your prayers I will be given back to you.

Now ¹  the seven angels holding ²  the seven trumpets prepared to blow them.

“Then he will say ¹  to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire that has been prepared for the devil and his angels!

Now on the first day of the feast of ¹  Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus and said, ²  “Where do you want us to prepare for you to eat the Passover?” ³ 

So ¹  the disciples left, went ²  into the city, and found things just as he had told them, ³  and they prepared the Passover.

And he will go as forerunner before the Lord ¹  in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers back to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, ²  to make ready for the Lord a people prepared for him.”

But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life ¹  will be demanded back from ²  you, but who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’ ³
