And he placed his hands on them and went on his way. ¹ 

He appointed twelve: ¹  To Simon ²  he gave the name Peter;

Then ¹  he placed his hands on her, and immediately ²  she straightened up and praised God.

Then ¹  when he has found it, he places it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

They stood these men before the apostles, who prayed ¹  and placed ²  their hands on them.

Then Peter and John placed their hands on the Samaritans, ¹  and they received the Holy Spirit. ² 

Then, after they had fasted ¹  and ²  prayed and placed their hands ³  on them, they sent them off.

Do not lay hands on anyone ¹  hastily and so identify with the sins of others. ²  Keep yourself pure.

I testify to the one who hears the words of the prophecy contained in this book: If anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described ¹  in this book.

They brought the donkey and the colt and placed their cloaks ¹  on them, and he sat on them.

He was not able to do a miracle there, except to lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them.

They brought to him a deaf man who had difficulty speaking, and they asked him to place his hands on him.

The soldiers ¹  braided ²  a crown of thorns ³  and put it on his head, and they clothed him in a purple robe. ⁴ 

and he has seen in a vision ¹  a man named Ananias come in and place his hands on him so that he may see again.”

For it seemed best to the Holy Spirit and to us ¹  not to place any greater burden on you than these necessary rules: ² 

After they had beaten them severely, ¹  they threw them into prison and commanded ²  the jailer to guard them securely.

They also bestowed many honors, ¹  and when we were preparing to sail, ²  they gave ³  us all the supplies we needed. ⁴ 

Then little children were brought to him for him to lay his hands on them and pray. ¹  But the disciples scolded those who brought them. ² 

They ¹  tie up heavy loads, hard to carry, and put them on men’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing even to lift a finger to move them.

Above ¹  his head they put the charge against him, ²  which read: ³  “This is Jesus, the king of the Jews.”
