Jehozadak went into exile when the Lord sent the people of ¹  Judah and Jerusalem into exile by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.

The gates of the towns in southern Judah will be shut tight. ¹  No one will be able to go in or out of them. ²  All Judah will be carried off into exile. They will be completely carried off into exile.’” ³ 

and I will drive you into exile beyond Damascus,” says the Lord. He is called the God who commands armies!

Bring out your belongings packed for exile during the day while they are watching. And go out at evening, while they are watching, as if for exile.

Ammon’s ¹  king will be deported; ²  he and his officials ³  will be carried off ⁴  together.” The Lord has spoken!

and his son Beerah, whom King Tiglath-pileser ¹  of Assyria carried into exile. Beerah ²  was the tribal leader of Reuben.

(On the fifth day of the month – it was the fifth year of King Jehoiachin’s exile –

who had been taken into exile from Jerusalem ¹  with the captives who had been carried into exile with Jeconiah ²  king of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had taken into exile.

Say, ‘I am an object lesson for you. Just as I have done, it will be done to them; they will go into exile and captivity.’

Therefore they will now be the first to go into exile, ¹  and the religious banquets ²  where they sprawl on couches ³  will end.

As a matter of fact, ¹  Amos is saying this: ‘Jeroboam will die by the sword and Israel will certainly be carried into exile ²  away from its land.’”

Here is the official record of the number of people ¹  Nebuchadnezzar carried into exile: In the seventh year, ²  3,023 Jews;

Then the king said to Ittai the Gittite, “Why should you come with us? Go back and stay with the new ¹  king, for you are a foreigner and an exile from your own country. ² 

Then they will know that I am the Lord their God, because I sent them into exile among the nations, and then gathered them into their own land. I will not leave any of them in exile ¹  any longer.

The king of Babylon ordered them to be executed ¹  at Riblah in the territory ²  of Hamath. So Judah was deported from its land.

“The Lord God of Israel who rules over all ¹  says to all those he sent ²  into exile to Babylon from Jerusalem, ³
