Joyfully you will draw water from the springs of deliverance. ¹ 

Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and make your hearts pure, you double-minded. ¹ 

A Samaritan woman ¹  came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give me some water ²  to drink.”

Those who are eager to do ¹  wrong draw near; they are far from your law.

And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people ¹  to myself.”

He made the camels kneel down by the well ¹  outside the city. It was evening, ²  the time when the women would go out to draw water.

Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the head steward,” ¹  and they did.

Even from among your own group ¹  men ²  will arise, teaching perversions of the truth ³  to draw the disciples away after them.

Here I am, standing by the spring, ¹  and the daughters of the people ²  who live in the town are coming out to draw water.

When she had done so, ¹  she said, “I’ll draw water for your camels too, until they have drunk as much as they want.”

(40:25) ¹  “Can you pull in ²  Leviathan with a hook, and tie down ³  its tongue with a rope?

Come near me and redeem me! ¹  Because of my enemies, rescue me!

Those who pull evil along using cords of emptiness are as good as dead, ¹  who pull sin as with cart ropes. ² 

Draw yourselves water for a siege! ¹  Strengthen your fortifications! Trample the mud ²  and tread the clay! Make mud bricks to strengthen your walls! ³ 

The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water, so that I will not be thirsty or have to come here to draw ¹  water.” ² 

She quickly emptied ¹  her jug into the watering trough and ran back to the well to draw more water until she had drawn enough for all his camels.

Proclaim this among the nations: “Prepare for a holy war! Call out the warriors! Let all these fighting men approach and attack! ¹ 

“Sir,” ¹  the woman ²  said to him, “you have no bucket and the well ³  is deep; where then do you get this ⁴  living water? ⁵ 

for the law made nothing perfect. On the other hand a better hope is introduced, through which we draw near to God.

Here I am, standing by the spring. ¹  When ²  the young woman goes out to draw water, I’ll say, “Give me a little water to drink from your jug.”
