Some were convinced ¹  by what he said, ²  but others refused ³  to believe.

He was ¹  fully convinced that what God ²  promised he was also able to do.

But if we say, ‘From people,’ all the people will stone us, because they are convinced that John was a prophet.”

One person regards one day holier than other days, and another regards them all alike. ¹  Each must be fully convinced in his own mind.

He ¹  replied to him, ‘If they do not respond to ²  Moses and the prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’” ³

But in your case, dear friends, even though we speak like this, we are convinced of better things relating to salvation.
