but he ran off naked, ¹  leaving his linen cloth behind.

Also, they must take away the ashes from the altar ¹  and spread a purple cloth over it.

Joseph ¹  took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, ² 

They must spread over them a scarlet cloth, and cover the same with a covering of fine leather; and they must insert its poles.

“They must spread a blue cloth on the gold altar, and cover it with a covering of fine leather; and they must insert its poles.

Then they must put over it a covering of fine leather ¹  and spread over that a cloth entirely of blue, and then they must insert its poles.

No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, because the patch will pull away from the garment and the tear will be worse.

A young man was following him, wearing only a linen cloth. They tried to arrest him,

and the face cloth, ¹  which had been around Jesus’ head, not lying with the strips of linen cloth but rolled up in a place by itself. ² 

“On the table of the presence ¹  they must spread a blue ²  cloth, and put on it the dishes, the pans, the bowls, and the pitchers for pouring, and the Bread of the Presence must be on it continually.

After Joseph ¹  bought a linen cloth ²  and took down the body, he wrapped it in the linen and placed it in a tomb cut out of the rock. ³  Then ⁴  he rolled a stone across the entrance ⁵  of the tomb.

“They must take a blue cloth and cover the lampstand of the light, with its lamps, its wick-trimmers, its trays, and all its oil vessels, with which they service it.

Then they must take all the utensils of the service, with which they serve in the sanctuary, put them in a blue cloth, cover them with a covering of fine leather, and put them on a carrying beam.

Then ¹  he took it down, wrapped it in a linen cloth, ²  and placed it ³  in a tomb cut out of the rock, ⁴  where no one had yet been buried. ⁵ 

The one who had died came out, his feet and hands tied up with strips of cloth, ¹  and a cloth wrapped around his face. ²  Jesus said to them, “Unwrap him ³  and let him go.”

Then another ¹  slave ²  came and said, ‘Sir, here is ³  your mina that I put away for safekeeping ⁴  in a piece of cloth. ⁵ 

I dressed you in embroidered clothing and put fine leather sandals on your feet. I wrapped you with fine linen and covered you with silk.

The priest replied, “The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom you struck down in the valley of Elah, is wrapped in a garment behind the ephod. If you wish, take it for yourself. Other than that, there’s nothing here.” David said, “There’s nothing like it! Give it to me!”

You were adorned with gold and silver, while your clothing was of fine linen, silk, and embroidery. You ate the finest flour, honey, and olive oil. You became extremely beautiful and attained the position of royalty.
