“‘These are the Lord’s appointed times, holy assemblies, which you must proclaim at their appointed time.

“The Israelites are to observe ¹  the Passover ²  at its appointed time. ³ 

For this gospel ¹  I was appointed a preacher and apostle and teacher. ² 

“Speak to the Israelites and tell them, ‘These are the Lord’s appointed times which you must proclaim as holy assemblies – my appointed times: ¹ 

He appointed twelve: ¹  To Simon ²  he gave the name Peter;

who is faithful to the one who appointed him, as Moses was also in God’s ¹  house. ² 

So Moses spoke to the Israelites about the appointed times of the Lord. ¹ 

And just as people ¹  are appointed to die once, and then to face judgment, ² 

so that times of refreshing ¹  may come from the presence of the Lord, ²  and so that he may send the Messiah ³  appointed ⁴  for you – that is, Jesus.

When the wall had been rebuilt and I had positioned the doors, and the gatekeepers, the singers, and the Levites had been appointed,

Joshua summoned the twelve men he had appointed from the Israelites, one per tribe.

He appointed judges throughout the land and in each of the fortified cities of Judah. ¹

I also provided for ¹  the wood offering at the appointed times and also for the first fruits. Please remember me for good, O my God.

You will also take the bull for the sin offering, and it will be burned in the appointed place in the temple, outside the sanctuary.

When they had appointed elders ¹  for them in the various churches, ²  with prayer and fasting ³  they entrusted them to the protection ⁴  of the Lord in whom they had believed.
