Ephraim has attached himself to idols; Do not go near him!

The Lord alone was guiding him, ¹  no foreign god was with him.

So Jacob was left alone. Then a man ¹  wrestled ²  with him until daybreak. ³ 

he alone spreads out the heavens, and treads ¹  on the waves of the sea; ² 

For you are great and do amazing things. You alone are God.

י (Yod) Let a person ¹  sit alone in silence, when the Lord ²  is disciplining him. ³ 

to whom alone the land was given when no foreigner passed among them. ¹ 

to the one who performs magnificent, amazing deeds all by himself, for his loyal love endures,

I loathe ¹  it; ²  I do not want to live forever; leave me alone, ³  for my days are a vapor! ⁴ 

Then they will know ¹  that you alone are the Lord, ²  the sovereign king ³  over all the earth.

But Jesus said, “Leave her alone. Why are you bothering her? She has done a good service for me.

So Jesus said, “Leave her alone. She has kept it for the day of my burial. ¹ 

Look, a time ¹  is coming – and has come – when you will be scattered, each one to his own home, ²  and I will be left alone. ³  Yet ⁴  I am not alone, because my Father ⁵  is with me.

The Lord God, the God of Israel, deserves praise! ¹  He alone accomplishes amazing things! ² 

Will you never ¹  look away from me, ²  will you not let me alone ³  long enough to swallow my spittle?

Furthermore, if two lie down together, they can keep each other warm, but how can one person keep warm by himself?

When he was alone, those around him with the twelve asked him about the parables.

Are not my days few? ¹  Cease, ²  then, and leave ³  me alone, ⁴  that I may find a little comfort, ⁵ 

When evening came, the boat was in the middle of the sea and he was alone on the land.

Jesus answered him, “It is written, ‘Man ¹  does not live by bread alone.’” ²
