So Paul left the Areopagus. ¹ 

I, Paul, send this greeting with my own hand.

Is Christ divided? Paul wasn’t crucified for you, was he? ¹  Or were you in fact baptized in the name of Paul? ² 

After this ¹  Paul ²  departed from ³  Athens ⁴  and went to Corinth. ⁵ 

But when the son of Paul’s sister heard about the ambush, ¹  he came and entered ²  the barracks ³  and told Paul.

So Agrippa ¹  said to Paul, “You have permission ²  to speak for yourself.” Then Paul held out his hand ³  and began his defense: ⁴ 

God was performing extraordinary ¹  miracles by Paul’s hands,

But when Paul wanted to enter the public assembly, ¹  the disciples would not let him.

From Paul, ¹  an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,

This man was listening to Paul as he was speaking. When Paul ¹  stared ²  intently at him and saw he had faith to be healed,

They began to call ¹  Barnabas Zeus ²  and Paul Hermes, ³  because he was the chief speaker.

They all began to weep loudly, ¹  and hugged ²  Paul and kissed him, ³ 

When Paul and Barnabas had a major argument and debate ¹  with them, the church ²  appointed Paul and Barnabas and some others from among them to go up to meet with ³  the apostles and elders in Jerusalem ⁴  about this point of disagreement. ⁵ 

But Saul (also known as Paul), ¹  filled with the Holy Spirit, ²  stared straight ³  at him

but Paul chose Silas and set out, commended ¹  to the grace of the Lord by the brothers and sisters. ² 

About midnight Paul and Silas were praying ¹  and singing hymns to God, ²  and the rest of ³  the prisoners were listening to them.

But Paul called out loudly, ¹  “Do not harm yourself, ²  for we are all here!”

Calling for lights, the jailer ¹  rushed in and fell down ²  trembling at the feet of Paul and Silas.

Then the brothers sent Paul away to the coast ¹  at once, but Silas and Timothy remained in Berea. ² 

The next day Paul went in with us to see James, and all the elders were there. ¹
