You will be cursed in the city and cursed in the field.

You will be cursed when you come in and cursed when you go out. ¹ 

After this Job opened his mouth ²  and cursed ³  the day he was born. ⁴ 

Your basket and your mixing bowl will be cursed.

A curse on anyone who is lax in doing the Lord’s work! A curse on anyone who keeps from carrying out his destruction! ¹ 

So he said, “Cursed ¹  be Canaan! ²  The lowest of slaves ³  he will be to his brothers.”

‘Cursed ¹  is the one who disrespects ²  his father and mother.’ Then all the people will say, ‘Amen!’

‘Cursed is the one who moves his neighbor’s boundary marker.’ Then all the people will say, ‘Amen!’

‘Cursed is the one who misleads a blind person on the road.’ Then all the people will say, ‘Amen!’

‘Cursed is the one who commits bestiality.’ ¹  Then all the people will say, ‘Amen!’

‘Cursed is the one who kills ¹  his neighbor in private.’ Then all the people will say, ‘Amen!’

‘Cursed is the one who takes a bribe to kill an innocent person.’ Then all the people will say, ‘Amen!’

I myself ¹  have seen the fool ²  taking root, but suddenly I cursed his place of residence. ³ 

For you know in your own heart ¹  that you also have cursed others many times.

Peter remembered and said to him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered.”

How ¹  can I curse ²  one whom God has not cursed, or how can I denounce one whom the Lord has not denounced?

¹ “You say, ²  ‘He is foam ³  on the face of the waters; ⁴  their portion of the land is cursed so that no one goes to their vineyard. ⁵ 

Surely ¹  those favored by the Lord ²  will possess the land, but those rejected ³  by him will be wiped out. ⁴ 

But if it produces thorns and thistles, it is useless and about to be cursed; ¹  its fate is to be burned.

Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce, and their fury, for it was cruel. I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel! ¹
