Then he brought me to the inner court on the east side. He measured the gate; it had the same dimensions as the others.

He measured the court as a square 175 feet long and 175 feet wide; ¹  the altar was in front of the temple.

Then he measured the wall of the temple ¹  as 10½ feet, ²  and the width of the side chambers as 7 feet, ³  all around the temple.

I saw that the temple had a raised platform all around; the foundations of the side chambers were a full measuring stick ¹  of 10½ feet ²  high.

Then he measured the temple as 175 feet ¹  long, the courtyard of the temple and the building and its walls as 175 feet ²  long,

and as the prescribed portion of olive oil, one tenth of a bath from each kor (which is ten baths or a homer, for ten baths make a homer);

In the four corners of the court were small ¹  courts, 70 feet ²  in length and 52½ feet ³  in width; the four were all the same size.

On the east side, one and one-half miles in length, there will be three gates: one gate for Joseph, one gate for Benjamin, and one gate for Dan.

On the west side, one and one-half miles in length, there will be three gates: one gate for Gad, one gate for Asher, and one gate for Naphtali.

The circumference of the city will be six miles. ¹  The name of the city from that day forward will be: ‘The Lord Is There.’” ² 

As for the rest of the beasts, their ruling authority had already been removed, though they were permitted to go on living ¹  for a time and a season.

Toward the end of their rule, when rebellious acts ¹  are complete, a rash ²  and deceitful ³  king will arise. ⁴ 

The thief comes only to steal and kill ¹  and destroy; I have come so that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. ² 

I have told you these things ¹  so that my joy may be in you, and your joy may be complete.

But now I am coming to you, and I am saying these things in the world, so they may experience ¹  my joy completed ²  in themselves.

And we have different gifts ¹  according to the grace given to us. If the gift is prophecy, that individual must use it in proportion to his faith.

But I have written more boldly to you on some points so as to remind you, because of the grace given to me by God

The one who plants and the one who waters work as one, ¹  but each will receive his reward according to his work.

For just as the sufferings ¹  of Christ ²  overflow ³  toward us, so also our comfort through Christ overflows to you. ⁴ 

For if the eagerness is present, the gift itself ¹  is acceptable according to whatever one has, not according to what he does not have.
