and the priest is to make one of them a sin offering ¹  and the other a burnt offering. ²  So the priest ³  is to make atonement for him before the Lord for ⁴  his discharge.

and he must wash in water any clothing or leather that has semen on it, and it will be unclean until evening.

Anyone who touches any furniture she sits on must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

If there is something on the bed or on the furniture she sits on, ¹  when he touches it ²  he will be unclean until evening,

“Then ¹  he is to go out to the altar which is before the Lord and make atonement for it. He is to take ²  some of the blood of the bull and some of the blood of the goat, and put it all around on the horns of the altar.

The goat is to bear on itself all their iniquities into an inaccessible land, ¹  so he is to send the goat away ²  in the wilderness.

You must not hate your brother in your heart. You must surely reprove your fellow citizen so that you do not incur sin on account of him. ¹ 

and the priest is to make atonement for him with the ram of the guilt offering before the Lord for his sin that he has committed, ¹  and he will be forgiven ²  of his sin ³  that he has committed.

He must not go out from the sanctuary and must not profane ¹  the sanctuary of his God, because the dedication of the anointing oil of his God is on him. I am the Lord.

They must keep my charge so that they do not incur sin on account of it ¹  and therefore die ²  because they profane it. I am the Lord who sanctifies them.

If, however, the one who consecrated the field redeems it, ¹  he must add to it one fifth of the conversion price ²  and it will belong to him. ³ 

If, however, ¹  it is among the unclean animals, he may ransom it according to ²  its conversion value and must add one fifth to it, but if it is not redeemed it must be sold according to its conversion value.

They must carry the curtains for the tabernacle and the tent of meeting with its covering, the covering of fine leather that is over it, the curtains for the entrance of the tent of meeting,

then he must confess ¹  his sin that he has committed and must make full reparation, ²  add one fifth to it, and give it to whomever he wronged. ³ 

But if the individual has no close relative ¹  to whom reparation can be made for the wrong, the reparation for the wrong must be paid to the Lord ²  for the priest, in addition to the ram of atonement by which atonement is made for him.

“‘If anyone dies very suddenly ¹  beside him and he defiles ²  his consecrated head, ³  then he must shave his head on the day of his purification – on the seventh day he must shave it.

Then the priest will offer one for a purification offering ¹  and the other ²  as a burnt offering, ³  and make atonement ⁴  for him, because of his transgression ⁵  in regard to the corpse. So he must reconsecrate ⁶  his head on that day.

The men whom Moses sent to investigate the land, who returned and made the whole community murmur against him by producing ¹  an evil report about the land,

And the priest must make atonement for the person who sins unintentionally – when he sins unintentionally before the Lord – to make atonement for him, and he will be forgiven.

Therefore you and all your company have assembled together against the Lord! And Aaron – what is he that you murmur against him?” ¹
