David thought about what they said ¹  and was very afraid of King Achish of Gath.

God gave Solomon wisdom and very great discernment; the breadth of his understanding ¹  was as infinite as the sand on the seashore.

The Lord saw Israel’s intense suffering; ¹  everyone was weak and incapacitated and Israel had no deliverer. ² 

So the Lord was furious ¹  with Israel and rejected them; ²  only the tribe of Judah was left.
