Egypt will not be able to do a thing, head or tail, shoots and stalk. ¹ 

Who among you will pay attention to this? Who will listen attentively in the future? ¹ 

Remind me of what happened! Let’s debate! You, prove to me that you are right! ¹ 

When you performed awesome deeds that took us by surprise, ¹  you came down, and the mountains trembled ²  before you.

Bring us back to yourself, O Lord, so that we may return ¹  to you; renew our life ²  as in days before, ³ 

For there will no longer be any false visions or flattering omens amidst the house of Israel.

Then the Lord will go to battle ¹  and fight against those nations, just as he fought battles in ancient days. ²

Therefore we must pay closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.
