That very day Herod and Pilate became friends with each other, ¹  for prior to this they had been enemies. ² 

Now there were six stone water jars there for Jewish ceremonial washing, ¹  each holding twenty or thirty gallons. ² 

There they ¹  crucified ²  him along with two others, ³  one on each side, with Jesus in the middle.

And tongues spreading out like a fire ¹  appeared to them and came to rest on each one of them.
