In three more days Pharaoh will decapitate you ¹  and impale you on a pole. Then the birds will eat your flesh from you.”

When the days of mourning ¹  had passed, Joseph said to Pharaoh’s royal court, ²  “If I have found favor in your sight, please say to Pharaoh, ³ 

No one ¹  could see ²  another person, and no one could rise from his place for three days. But the Israelites had light in the places where they lived.

For seven days ¹  you must eat ²  bread made without yeast, and on the seventh day there is to be ³  a festival to the Lord.

However, if the injured servant ¹  survives one or two days, the owner ²  will not be punished, for he has suffered the loss. ³ 

Moses went into the cloud when he went up ¹  the mountain, and Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights. ² 

“Thus you are to do for Aaron and for his sons, according to all that I have commanded you; you are to consecrate them ¹  for ²  seven days.

“On six days ¹  you may labor, but on the seventh day you must rest; ²  even at the time of plowing and of harvest ³  you are to rest. ⁴ 

then the priest is to go out of the house to the doorway of the house and quarantine the house for seven days. ¹ 

“‘If ¹  she becomes clean from her discharge, then she is to count off for herself seven days, and afterward she will be clean.

Then on the fifteenth day of the same month ¹  will be the festival of unleavened bread to the Lord; seven days you must eat unleavened bread.

You must present a gift to the Lord for seven days, and the seventh day is a holy assembly; you must not do any regular work.’”

You must count fifty days – until the day after the seventh Sabbath – and then ¹  you must present a new grain offering to the Lord.

“Tell the Israelites, ‘On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the Festival of Temporary Shelters ¹  for seven days to the Lord.

“‘You must count off ¹  seven weeks of years, seven times seven years, ²  and the days of the seven weeks of years will amount to forty-nine years. ³ 

All the days of the desolation it will have the rest it did not have ¹  on your Sabbaths when you lived on it.

All the days of his separation he must not eat anything that is produced by the grapevine, from seed ¹  to skin. ² 

“‘Now this is the law of the Nazirite: When the days of his separation are fulfilled, he must be brought ¹  to the entrance of the tent of meeting,

When the cloud remained over the tabernacle many days, then the Israelites obeyed the instructions ¹  of the Lord and did not journey.

So Miriam was shut outside of the camp for seven days, and the people did not journey on until Miriam was brought back in. ¹
