Jesus ¹  also said to the disciples, “There was a rich man who was informed of accusations ²  that his manager ³  was wasting ⁴  his assets.

“Now ¹  the poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s side. ²  The ³  rich man also died and was buried. ⁴ 

There was also a widow ¹  in that city ²  who kept coming ³  to him and saying, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’

When ¹  he learned that he was from Herod’s jurisdiction, ²  he sent him over to Herod, ³  who also happened to be in Jerusalem ⁴  at that time.

John ¹  was also baptizing at Aenon near Salim, ²  because water was plentiful there, and people were coming ³  to him ⁴  and being baptized.

For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, ¹  so also the Son gives life to whomever he wishes. ² 

But when his brothers had gone up to the feast, then Jesus ¹  himself also went up, not openly but in secret.

“I give you a new commandment – to love ¹  one another. Just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. ² 

So also you have sorrow ¹  now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you. ² 

“I am not praying ¹  only on their behalf, but also on behalf of those who believe ²  in me through their testimony, ³ 

Pilate also had a notice ¹  written and fastened to the cross, ²  which read: ³  “Jesus the Nazarene, the king of the Jews.”

And the person who saw it ¹  has testified (and his testimony is true, and he ²  knows that he is telling the truth), ³  so that you also may believe.

So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. Just as the Father has sent me, I also send you.”

A crowd of people from the towns around Jerusalem ¹  also came together, bringing the sick and those troubled by unclean spirits. ²  They ³  were all ⁴  being healed.

but Saul learned of their plot against him. ¹  They were also watching ²  the city gates ³  day and night so that they could kill him.

Now ¹  as Peter was traveling around from place to place, ²  he also came down to the saints who lived in Lydda. ³ 

The Spirit told me to accompany them without hesitation. These six brothers ¹  also went with me, and we entered the man’s house.

Therefore if God ¹  gave them the same gift ²  as he also gave us after believing ³  in the Lord Jesus Christ, ⁴  who was I to hinder ⁵  God?”

When ¹  they arrived ²  in Salamis, ³  they began to proclaim ⁴  the word of God in the Jewish synagogues. ⁵  (Now they also had John ⁶  as their assistant.) ⁷ 

But when the Jews from Thessalonica ¹  heard that Paul had also proclaimed the word of God ²  in Berea, ³  they came there too, inciting ⁴  and disturbing ⁵  the crowds.
