If, however, ¹  the raw flesh once again turns white, ²  then he must come to the priest.

but whatever does not have fins and scales you may not eat; it is ritually impure to you.

Job took a shard of broken pottery to scrape ¹  himself ²  with while he was sitting ³  among the ashes. ⁴ 

My eyes have grown dim ¹  with grief; my whole frame ²  is but a shadow.

In the same way, on the outside you look righteous to people, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

No man ¹  from the descendants of Aaron who is diseased or has a discharge ²  may eat the holy offerings until he becomes clean. The one ³  who touches anything made unclean by contact with a dead person, ⁴  or a man who has a seminal emission, ⁵ 

King Uzziah suffered from a skin disease until the day he died. He lived in separate quarters, ¹  afflicted by a skin disease and banned from the Lord’s temple. His son Jotham was in charge of the palace and ruled over the people of the land.

“This is the law of the diseased person on the day of his purification, when ¹  he is brought to the priest. ² 

You must not slash your body for a dead person ¹  or incise a tattoo on yourself. ²  I am the Lord.

When ¹  the cloud departed from above the tent, Miriam became ²  leprous ³  as snow. Then Aaron looked at ⁴  Miriam, and she was leprous!

The Lord will afflict you with the boils of Egypt and with tumors, eczema, and scabies, all of which cannot be healed.

Now four men with a skin disease ¹  were sitting at the entrance of the city gate. They said to one another, “Why are we just sitting here waiting to die? ² 

So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord, and he afflicted ¹  Job with a malignant ulcer ²  from the sole of his feet to the top of his head. ³
