When ¹  did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or naked and clothe you?

When Jesus saw their ¹  faith, he said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” ² 

For he had healed many, so that all who were afflicted with diseases pressed toward him in order to touch him.

With many other words he testified ¹  and exhorted them saying, “Save yourselves from this perverse ²  generation!”

He found there a man named Aeneas who had been confined to a mattress for eight years because ¹  he was paralyzed.

But you know it was because of a physical illness that I first proclaimed the gospel to you,

(Stop drinking just water, but use a little wine for your digestion ¹  and your frequent illnesses.) ²

then the Lord will increase your punishments and those of your descendants – great and long-lasting afflictions and severe, enduring illnesses.

And you will get a serious, chronic intestinal disease which will cause your intestines to come out.” ¹

Rather, each person will die for his own sins. The teeth of the person who eats the sour grapes will themselves grow numb. ¹ 

So now be very sure of this: You will die from war, starvation, or disease in the place where you want to go and live.”

Because you push with your side and your shoulder, and thrust your horns at all the weak sheep until you scatter them abroad, ¹
