John’s ¹  disciples informed him about all these things. So ²  John called ³  two of his disciples

One of the experts in religious law ¹  answered him, “Teacher, when you say these things you insult ²  us too.”

For all the nations of the world pursue ¹  these things, and your Father knows that you need them.

Then ¹  Jesus ²  entered the temple courts ³  and began to drive out those who were selling things there, ⁴ 

Then ¹  Jesus said to them, “Neither will I tell you ²  by whose authority ³  I do these things.”

But when these things ¹  begin to happen, stand up and raise your heads, because your redemption ²  is drawing near.”

So also you, when you see these things happening, know ¹  that the kingdom of God ²  is near.

I tell you the truth, ¹  this generation ²  will not pass away until all these things take place.

So ¹  they went and found things ²  just as he had told them, ³  and they prepared the Passover.

For if such things are done ¹  when the wood is green, what will happen when it is dry?” ² 

and when they returned from the tomb they told all these things to the eleven ¹  and to all the rest.

Wasn’t ¹  it necessary ²  for the Christ ³  to suffer these things and enter into his glory?”

While they were saying these things, Jesus ¹  himself stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.” ² 

All things were created ¹  by him, and apart from him not one thing was created ²  that has been created. ³ 

So then the Jewish leaders ¹  responded, ²  “What sign can you show us, since you are doing these things?” ³ 

Jesus answered, ¹  “Are you the teacher of Israel and yet you don’t understand these things? ² 

Then many of his disciples, when they heard these things, ¹  said, “This is a difficult ²  saying! ³  Who can understand it?” ⁴ 

Then many of the people, ¹  who had come with Mary and had seen the things Jesus ²  did, believed in him.

Jesus replied, ¹  “You do not understand ²  what I am doing now, but you will understand ³  after these things.”

I have told you these things ¹  so that my joy may be in you, and your joy may be complete.
