All of your creatures ¹  wait for you to provide them with food on a regular basis. ² 

They asked for food, ¹  and he sent quails; he satisfied them with food from the sky. ² 

“I have ¹  fresh meat at home; ²  today I have fulfilled my vows!

Do not crave that ruler’s ¹  delicacies, for ²  that food is deceptive. ³ 

Do not eat the food of a stingy person, ¹  do not crave his delicacies;

under a servant ¹  who becomes king, under a fool who is stuffed with food, ² 

ants are creatures with little strength, but they prepare ¹  their food in the summer;

And I said, “Ah, sovereign Lord, I have never been ceremonially defiled before. I have never eaten a carcass or an animal torn by wild beasts; from my youth up, unclean meat ¹  has never entered my mouth.”

For there is more to life than food, and more to the body than clothing.

For my flesh is true ¹  food, and my blood is true ²  drink.

Then prepare for me some tasty food, the kind I love, and bring it to me. Then ¹  I will eat it so that I may bless you ²  before I die.”

Go to the flock and get me two of the best young goats. I’ll prepare ¹  them in a tasty way for your father, just the way he loves them.
