Under three things the earth trembles, ¹  and under four things it cannot bear up:

He will lift a signal flag for the nations; he will gather Israel’s dispersed people ¹  and assemble Judah’s scattered people from the four corners of the earth.

In the fire ¹  were what looked like ²  four living beings. ³  In their appearance they had human form, ⁴ 

Then I looked, ¹  and I saw one wheel ²  on the ground ³  beside each of the four beings.

Their rims were high and awesome, ¹  and the rims of all four wheels were full of eyes all around.

As for their appearance, all four of them looked the same, something like a wheel within a wheel. ¹ 

along with their entire bodies, ¹  their backs, their hands, and their wings. The wheels of the four of them were full of eyes all around.

Now the altar hearth ¹  is a perfect square, 21 feet ²  long and 21 feet wide.

There was a row of masonry around each of the four courts, and places for boiling offerings were made under the rows all around.

“These are the exits of the city: On the north side, one and one-half miles ¹  by measure,

This took place on the twenty-fourth day of the sixth month of King Darius’ second year. ¹ 

Then the Lord spoke again to Haggai ¹  on the twenty-fourth day of the month: ²

I will cause enemies to blow through Elam from every direction like the winds blowing in from the four quarters of heaven. I will scatter the people of Elam to the four winds. There will not be any nation where the refugees of Elam will not go. ¹

Kedorlaomer king of Elam, Tidal king of nations, ¹  Amraphel king of Shinar, and Arioch king of Ellasar. Four kings fought against ²  five.

Then the Lord said to Abram, “Know for certain ¹  that your descendants will be strangers ²  in a foreign country. ³  They will be enslaved and oppressed ⁴  for four hundred years.
