Instead, you must be sure to open your hand to him and generously lend ¹  him whatever he needs. ² 

Jephthah approached ¹  the Ammonites to fight with them, and the Lord handed them over to him.

It was handed over ¹  to the foremen who used it to repair the Lord’s temple.

Do not audit the foremen who disburse the silver, for they are honest.” ¹ 

Recall the miraculous deeds he performed, his mighty acts and the judgments he decreed, ¹ 

So the soldiers released the captives and the plunder before the officials and the entire assembly.

Everything was verified ¹  by number and by weight, and the total weight was written down at that time.

God abandons me to evil ¹  men, ²  and throws ³  me into the hands of wicked men.

“Why do your disciples disobey the tradition of the elders? For they don’t wash their ¹  hands when they eat.” ² 

he does not need to honor his father.’ ¹  You have nullified the word of God on account of your tradition.

You ¹  received the law by decrees given by angels, ²  but you did not obey ³  it.” ⁴
