“Go and stand in the temple courts ¹  and proclaim ²  to the people all the words of this life.”

and immediately he began to proclaim Jesus in the synagogues, ¹  saying, “This man is the Son of God.” ² 

You know ¹  the message ²  he sent to the people ³  of Israel, proclaiming the good news of peace ⁴  through ⁵  Jesus Christ ⁶  (he is Lord ⁷  of all) –

As Paul and Barnabas ¹  were going out, ²  the people ³  were urging ⁴  them to speak about these things ⁵  on the next Sabbath.

You yourselves know that these hands of mine ¹  provided for my needs and the needs of those who were with me.

I ¹  persecuted this Way ²  even to the point of death, ³  tying up ⁴  both men and women and putting ⁵  them in prison,

Or these men here ¹  should tell what crime ²  they found me guilty of ³  when I stood before the council, ⁴ 

and as they were leaving they said to one another, ¹  “This man is not doing anything deserving ²  death or imprisonment.”

Agrippa ¹  said to Festus, ²  “This man could have been released ³  if he had not appealed to Caesar.” ⁴ 

For last night an angel of the God to whom I belong ¹  and whom I serve ²  came to me ³ 

It is not as though the word of God had failed. For not all those who are descended from Israel are truly Israel, ¹ 

For this is what the promise declared: ¹  “About a year from now ²  I will return and Sarah will have a son.” ³ 

For if only in this life we have hope in Christ, we should be pitied more than anyone.

I was glad about the arrival of Stephanus, Fortunatus, and Achaicus because they have supplied the fellowship with you that I lacked. ¹ 

Thus ¹  we urged ²  Titus that, just as he had previously begun this work, ³  so also he should complete this act of kindness ⁴  for you.

We did this ¹  as a precaution so that no one should blame us in regard to this generous gift we are administering.

What I am saying with this boastful confidence ¹  I do not say the way the Lord would. ²  Instead it is, as it were, foolishness.

so that no one would be shaken by these afflictions. For you yourselves know that we are destined for this.

Such testimony is true. For this reason rebuke them sharply that they may be healthy in the faith

But see how great he must be, if ¹  Abraham the patriarch gave him a tithe ²  of his plunder.
