A cheerful heart ¹  brings good healing, ²  but a crushed spirit ³  dries up the bones. ⁴ 

Judgments ¹  are prepared for scorners, and floggings for the backs of fools.

A king brings stability ¹  to a land ²  by justice, but one who exacts tribute ³  tears it down.

She makes linen garments ¹  and sells them, and supplies the merchants ²  with sashes.

He flashes ¹  destruction down upon the strong so that destruction overwhelms ²  the fortified places.)

Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they go in and live there, so ¹  the last state of that person is worse than the first. It will be that way for this evil generation as well!”

The true light, who gives light to everyone, ¹  was coming into the world. ² 

Now godliness combined with contentment brings great profit.
