And you must take ¹  for yourself every kind of food ²  that is eaten, ³  and gather it together. ⁴  It will be food for you and for them.

You made Israel your very own people for all time. ¹  You, O Lord, became their God.

Then the king said to Amasa, “Call the men of Judah together for me in three days, ¹  and you be present here with them too.”

And you will get a serious, chronic intestinal disease which will cause your intestines to come out.” ¹
