No woman will miscarry her young ¹  or be barren in your land. I will fulfill ²  the number of your days.

Moreover, ¹  you are to tell the Israelites, ‘If any man curses his God ²  he will bear responsibility for his sin,

If a man inflicts an injury on ¹  his fellow citizen, ²  just as he has done it must be done to him –

But if he should nullify them after he has heard them, then he will bear her iniquity.” ¹ 

you may bring her back to your house. She must shave her head, ¹  trim her nails,

Do not sweep me away ¹  with sinners, or execute me along with violent people, ² 

But the Lord does not surrender the godly, or allow them to be condemned in a court of law. ¹ 

They are immune to the trouble common to men; they do not suffer as other men do. ¹ 

But I will not remove ¹  my loyal love from him, nor be unfaithful to my promise. ² 

It was good for me to suffer, so that I might learn your statutes.

How miserable I am! ¹  For I have lived temporarily ²  in Meshech; I have resided among the tents of Kedar. ³ 

May he not allow your foot to slip! May your protector ¹  not sleep! ² 

The Lord satisfies ¹  the appetite ²  of the righteous, but he thwarts ³  the craving ⁴  of the wicked.

Be assured that ¹  the evil person will certainly be punished, ²  but the descendants of the righteous ³  will not suffer unjust judgment. ⁴ 

The one who loves ¹  pleasure ²  will be ³  a poor person; ⁴  whoever loves wine and anointing oil ⁵  will not be rich.

though it never saw the light of day ¹  nor knew anything, ²  yet it has more rest ³  than that man –

Another ¹  of the ²  disciples said to him, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”

Then the demons begged him, ¹  “If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.”

But Jesus said, ¹  “Enough of this!” And he touched the man’s ²  ear and healed ³  him.

And we rightly so, for we are getting what we deserve for what we did, but this man has done nothing ¹  wrong.”
